Ashburton Town Hall

TEC Construction has recently finished a £300,000 refurbishment project for Ashburton Town Council. The Contract Administrator for the project was Drew Pearce based in Exeter.

TEC Construction were chosen for the project, firstly by open tender, followed by an interview process where the company was  required to respond to questions on the project and their company policies. The project lasted 16 weeks and saw the Main Hall and toilet accommodation refurbished.

Although several of the community based clubs & activities had to be postponed during the refurbishment programme, the Town Clerk and staff remained on site and carried out their duties.

Summer 2009

TEC are pleased to announce a full order book at the start of the school summer holidays. Many schools are committed to providing the best environments for our children to learn & develop and TEC is proud of the first class high quality programmed work that they carry out each & every summer to the schools & colleges within Devon & Cornwall.

            This year we are pleased to be involved with many schools such as:

As always we continue to provide a service to City College Plymouth, all year round.

As the recession continues TEC has seen an increase this year in the house refurbishment market within Devon & Cornwall for the domestic client. 

Completed projects alone this year include:

  • South Hill, Newton Ferrers.
  • The Coach House, Launceston. (Grade 2 Listed)
  • Durnford Street, Plymouth. (Grade 2 Listed)
  • Rosemount House, Ashburton.

 Whilst commencing work on:

  • Hillside, Newton Ferrers.
  • Powsland Drive, Plymouth.

Markham Court – Paignton

Completion of the Markham Court development in Dartmouth Road in Paignton has been marked by the first homeowners moving in to the converted property.

The development consisted of alterations of a formal hotel & an extension programme to create spacious 21 in number 2 bed apartments within the heart of Paignton.

TEC Construction assisted the Royal Bank of Scotland in finishing the properties to a high standard after the previous developers had come into difficulties & after the building had been left unfinished for an amount of time.

The development consisted of renovating the former hotel including sash windows throughout in keeping with the age of the property.

The communal areas of the apartments consist of landscaped gardens, glazed atrium staircases & allocated parking spaces.
